Age is just a number

​Age is just a number. Don’t believe it, look at Sammy Haggar. Just when you start to think you're getting older and should slow down, you see someone that completely changes your perspective. For me, that person was Sammy Haggar. 

Over the Labor Day weekend, Stacey and I went to see Sammy Hagger at the RV amphitheater in Washington with Stacey’s sister and her husband. We had front row center seats with the best view possible. 

If you were a product of the 80’s and 90’s like we are, then you grew up on Sammy Hagger and Van Halen’s music--back when the whole band was in their 20s. Now, Sammy Hagger is about to turn 75. 

You certainly wouldn’t know it from the performance he put on. His voice sounded great, and he moved around the stage like a young rocker. 

Watching him on stage gave me hope that if a guy like him, who has led a rock and roll lifestyle for all his adult life, can look and move that good at 75, then there is definitely hope for the rest of us.
